Will Cox is a lutruwita-born, Naarm-based writer of fiction and non-fiction.

Over the years he’s been a contributor to The Guardian, The Saturday Paper, The Lifted Brow and others, and he was the arts editor at Broadsheet for four, possibly five years. On top of this he writes and edits for arts festivals, airlines and archaeologists, and ghost-writes here and there.

He also writes fiction and poetry, some of which is found in New Australian Fiction, Island, Verge, Visible Ink, Slow Canoe and others as well as longer stories like The Bird of Space (published as a chapbook by Casuals Network Press, 2014), and Hyacinth (a gothic rewriting of a popular 90s British sitcom—it’ll be coming out as a book soon).

In 2022, he’s been working on his first novel, The White Void, with the assistance of a mentorship from the Australian Society of Authors.
